Communication Design is an 8 semester Bachelor Program including
1 Pre-Year with 180 (ECTS ) credit points. The study program will be conducted in the English language at Campus Schwerin.
The aim of the bachelor’s degree program is to familiarize students creatively with conceptual-economic thinking and craftsmanship.
The future designers can anticipate needs, developments, and relevancies and transform the resulting conditions into user-centered products and services through independent ideas and concept development.
They are proficient in all basics of art and design theory, familiarized with business management and marketing processes, as well as with all analog and software-based design and styling practices.
After completing the degree program, complex communication and design projects can be independently planned, safely executed and presented convincingly. The study supports the future communication designers in building a professional attitude since a constant change of requirements calls for a flexible, reflective and constructive-critical discussion.
