Fashion Design

Fashion design is an 8 semester Bachelor Program including 1 Pre-Year. During those

4 years 180 Credit Points (ECTS) can be gained. The study program will be conducted in

English language at Campus Schwerin.

The Bachelor Studies cover subjects like the history of design, work scientifically, basics of

the arrangement, 2D and 3D designs, visualization, fashion-related know-how, open product

lines and business administration.

After having completed their studies successfully, participants attain the degree Bachelor of

Arts. The Bachelor degree enables them to pursue Master studies or career in Germany.

Good fashion designers are sought nationally and internationally in all sectors of the clothing industry. In addition, our graduates will find a way to develop their own design line. But also in the field of costume design for film or theater or in the design and editing studios of major fashion brands offers a wide field of activity. For work as a trend scout and in forecasting, the study of fashion design also provides the perfect foundation. Here you create analyzes, inventories or trend previews across genres for the areas of architecture, interior design, film, music, art, They anticipate movements in color and form development, in the direction of the line and in new materials in various socio-cultural milieus.
